DESCRIPTION:

Saint John’s Audiology Department provides complete hearing evaluations, including conventional, impedance and brain stem evoked response audiometry as well as infant hearing screenings, and hearing aide evaluation and fitting services. Staff may make recommendations concerning therapy and special education. Likely candidates for audiology services include children who have chronic middle ear problems, suspected hearing loss, or are slow in learning to talk.

Adults who notice dizziness, ear drainage, head noises or a change in their hearing may be candidates for audiology services. Services such as sign language interpretation, sign language education, and assistive listening devices are available upon request.  Saint John's Audiology Department dispenses and fits hearing aids
