Archie Manning, father of Super Bowl quarterbacks Payton
and Eli Manning, is scheduled to be a special guest at the
Saint John's - Sandi Patty Golf Classic.
Registrations are currently being accepted for the 24th
Annual tournament, set for Monday, June 9, at the Anderson
Country Club. Proceeds from the event benefit the Saint
John's Children's Clinic, a freestanding clinic providing
free medical and dental care to eligible children through
age 18.
The seeded Florida-scramble tournament will feature such
celebrities as award winning gospel recording artist Sandi
Patty; Carl Erskine, former Dodgers pitcher; Bill Polian,
president of the Indianapolis Colts; Don Hein, an award
winning sportscaster for WTHR, Channel 13, Indianapolis;
Dick Wolfsie, television host for WISH-TV, Channel 8,
Indianapolis; and many others.
The single-entry fee of $175 includes a golf cart, lunch
for the golfer, greens fee, dinner for the golfer
(additional dinner guests are $15 each), and a special gift.
The tournament begins with lunch at 11 a.m., followed by a
noon shotgun start.
Individuals and businesses are invited to play golf,
sponsor a table at the banquet, sponsor a tee or green,
sponsor a student golfer, or purchase an ad in the day's
program.
