Saint John’s Noted as Top Workplace

Saint John’s Health System was ranked third in the large company category in the Indianapolis Star’s 2010 Top Workplaces initiative.  Saint John’s President Tom VanOsdol received a special award as top leader in the large workplace category. 

More than 600 Central Indiana companies were invited to participate by Workplace Dynamics of Exton, Pa.  Of those invited, 101 companies took part in the survey, with nearly 20,000 employees responding to a variety of statements.  The statements probed different aspects of the workplace, from management, benefits and appreciation to ethics, training and work/life balance.  The rankings of the participating companies were calculated based on the employees' responses.
