Camp Hope Helps Youth Deal with Grief
Registrations are being accepted for youth to attend Saint
John’s Camp Hope, a youth bereavement project. Volunteers
are also being recruited.
Camp Hope is for children and teenagers who have experienced
the death of a loved one. It provides an opportunity to
share feelings of loss with other children and caring
adults, and to learn that these feelings are normal.
Camp will be conducted Aug. 7-8 at the Boy Scout camp (Camp
Kikthawenund), just outside of Anderson.
To learn about the many volunteer opportunities with Camp
Hope or to register a youth to be a camper, contact Steve
Cunningham at 646-8179, or follow
this link.
