At the foundation of this unique health care system is a Christian
mission that spans over a century. Saint John's was founded in 1894 by
the Sisters of the Holy Cross to extend the healing ministry of Jesus
Christ. Now, Saint John's is a member of
Saint Vincent Health,
Indiana's largest healthcare employer.
