DESCRIPTION:
Services are available 7 days per week,
24 hours/day.
The Saint John's Anderson Center
offers specialized treatment for persons with addictive
diseases and mental health problems. A multidisciplinary
team of professionals provide care from facilities at the
Anderson Center and Anderson Center Outpatient Services
offices. The Anderson Center's
continuum of care ranges from outpatient counseling to
acute inpatient services and residential treatment
programs. An assessment specialist is available 24-hours
a day to make an assessment and refer directly to the
appropriate level of care.
Description of the services follow:
Addictive Diseases:
The Anderson Center offers a
comprehensive program for individuals with addictive
diseases, including the state's first compulsive gambling
treatment program. Services include outpatient therapy,
intensive outpatient program, partial hospital treatment
and acute inpatient services. Specialized treatment
programs are available for chemical dependency and
compulsive gambling. Therapy focuses on highly
individualized treatment, a specialized family program,
an interdisciplinary treatment team, and relapse
prevention.
Mental Health Services:
The Anderson Center offers individual
group, family, occupational, and activity therapies in
outpatient and inpatient settings for adults and
adolescents. Specialized assessment and treatment of
trauma-related disorders also is provided.
Residential Treatment Program:
Many adolescents who continue to
experience emotional problems and or addictive diseases
after receiving acute care treatment can be more
effectively treated in a residential treatment
environment. The Anderson Center provides 24-hour care
for these young people. The program helps adolescents
learn to resolve their problems and grow to be
independent healthy adults.
