8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Mon. - Fri.; on call R.N. coverage is available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, including weekends and holidays.

DESCRIPTION:
Saint John’s Home Health Care provides a wide range of in-home services by registered nurses, home health aides, occupational, speech and physical therapists, medical social workers, pastoral care counselors and homemaker aides.

These services may shorten the length of a hospitalization or prevent an inpatient admission altogether. Under the direction of a physician, an individualized care plan is developed for each patient. Skilled nursing care is available, including high-tech home IV therapies, rehabilitation programs, newborn follow-up, ostomy and wound care, and management of catheters and feeding tubes. Saint John’s Medical Supplies has a variety of medical equipment and supplies for use in the home.

In-home service is reimbursed by most third-party payers. The agency is licensed by the Indiana State Board of Health, certified as a Medicare and Medicaid provider, and accredited by JCAHO.

Healthy Families
Anyone in Madison County with a new child may be visited by a representative from the Healthy Family program.  Healthy Families provides education, developmental screenings and transportation to eligible program participants, and makes appropriate community resources available to eligible parents.  To learn more about eligibility for Healthy Families, or for information about other community resources, call (765) 646-8179.
