Zimmer Mini Incision Hip Replacement
Saint John’s is one of a few hospitals in Indiana to offer arthritic-hip-pain sufferers a minimally invasive alternative to traditional hip replacement. The Zimmer Mini Incision procedure uses specialized instruments and adapted surgical techniques to implant the same high-quality and clinically proven hip implants used in traditional hip replacement. The new technique allows the implant to be inserted through two 2-inch incisions, rather than the standard 10- to 12-inch incision. For more information, call 683-4400.
