The Saint John's Anderson Center and
Anderson Center Outpatient Services offer specialized
treatment for persons with addictive diseases and mental
illnesses. A multidisciplinary team of professionals
including psychiatrists, family physicians, psychologists,
professional nurses, social workers, counselors, pastoral
care counselors, and recreation assistants. .
The Anderson
Center's continuum of care ranges from outpatient counseling
to acute inpatient services and residential treatment
programs. An assessment specialist is available Monday
through Friday, 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. to make an assessment
and refer directly to the appropriate level of care.
The Anderson Center is staffed 24 hours a day and is
available for after-hour admissions by calling (765) 646-8444
or 1 (800) 435-9143. Patients are assessed and
referred to the appropriate level of care.
Based on the person's needs, strengths/weaknesses,
interests and skills, a treatment program utilizing one of
the following levels of care is custom designed that person:
Outpatient Therapy
The counselors at Anderson Center Outpatient Services
provide comprehensive outpatient care. Its counselors
are experienced in, but not limited to, marriage and family
counseling, sexual abuse counseling, child custody services,
depression counseling, battered wife syndrome therapy, and
adoption issues. Follow this

Intensive Outpatient Program
The Anderson Center offers Intensive Outpatient Services
for both mental health and addictions. Clients may
attend three therapy sessions a week in either our day or
evening programs. Each patient has an individual
treatment plan, which may include group therapy, individual
counseling, lecture/film sessions, and individual family
sessions.
Partial Hospital Treatment
Individuals with an addictive disease or mental health
problems utilized group, individual and family therapy
during the day, then leave in the evening to return home
again. Partial Hospitalization is an 8-hour-a-day
program that runs Monday through Friday.
Residential Treatment Program
Adolescents with a variety of emotional and behavioral
difficulties are treated in the Residential Treatment
Program. Many have continuing need after stabilization
in an acute setting. The structured program utilizes
behavior modification, as well as insight oriented therapy
that includes individual, group and family therapy.
The program is designed to help the adolescent cope with
emotional and behavioral issues. the adolescents work
to develop the skills needed to succeed in a less
restrictive environment, resolve their problems and grow to
be independent, healthy adults.
Inpatient Acute Services
Individuals needing crisis stabilization are cared for in
a short term intensive setting. This comprehensive
program offers an individual treatment plan, group therapy,
recreational and leisure counseling, exercise, and
individual, family and marital counseling.
